What to bring
Children need to bring these items each day:
- broad-brimmed hat
- change of clothes
- drink bottle containing water
- piece of fruit or healthy snack for morning fruit time
- packed healthy lunch.
Children's lunch boxes are kept in the fridge.
Children should wear old clothes with easy fastening so they can get dirty and go to the toilet by themselves. Their shoes should be suitable for running and climbing. You can buy kindy-logo polo shirts, jumpers and hats from us.
Please write your child’s name on all their belongings.
What not to bring
Children should not bring these things:
- food containing nuts (some children have nut allergies that can be dangerous)
- unhealthy food or drink (lollies, chocolate, cakes, sweet biscuits, juice boxes)
- toys from home.
We discourage pre-packaged foods as they are often difficult for children to open.
Your child will have a kindy pocket where we put newsletters and notices. Please check this often.
All lost items are placed in the lost property basket near the children's lockers.
We welcome parent involvement and invite you to stay or drop in during our kindy sessions. All parents will be included on the washing roster and your help with washing smocks, towels and cushion covers is appreciated.
Our making box often needs boxes and recycling materials. Please do not send toilet rolls, match boxes and cigarette boxes.
Please read our drop-off and pick-up procedure (PDF 9KB).
Our parent coordinated playgroup is run every week. You and your child can meet other families and spend time learning together.
Playgroup is on Friday morning 9.00am to 11.30am.
This program costs $2 per family per session.
